Inspired by the early martyr, Ignatius of Antioch, Maloyan took the name at his ordination to the priesthood not realizing that he’d be called to the same crown of victory. A victim of the Armenian Genocide, Ignatius led his flock in prayer and song on their way to meet the Lord.
