More than anything, Peter the little sunflower wants to be chosen.

Every week, while the little children skip through the flower field, looking for the perfect bunch to bring to church, Peter wonders if he’ll ever be picked. He hopes his own beauty will bring joy to Mama Mary.

Then one day, a storm rolls by leaving Peter with a broken stem and crushed leaves. Now a wilted flower, Peter knows he’ll never be good enough for Mama Mary. That is, until a child skips his way and reminds him that even the broken can be beautiful.
